Yr Hen Stabl is a spacious, cosy cottage in a peaceful setting, ideal for families and dog owners. Guests praise the secure garden, well-equipped kitchen, and relaxing hot tub. The property offers easy access to local beaches and attractions, with shops a short drive away. While most found the cottage clean and comfortable, a few noted areas needing modernisation and minor maintenance. Thoughtful touches such as welcome treats were appreciated by some guests, though these are not guaranteed. Overall, the cottage provides a relaxing and enjoyable base for exploring Anglesey.
Most guests found the cottage clean and well-presented, with several describing it as spotless. However, a minority mentioned issues such as cobwebs, dog hair, and some areas needing a deeper clean, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is widely praised for its tranquillity, countryside views, and proximity to beaches and local amenities. The only drawback mentioned is the busy road outside, which limits walking directly from the property.
Guests generally found the cottage spacious, cosy, and warm, with underfloor heating and a log burner. Some noted that certain furniture and mattresses could be updated, but overall comfort levels were high.
The cottage is well-equipped, with a secure garden, hot tub, and ample kitchenware. Some guests experienced maintenance issues such as a non-functioning oven, worn furniture, and minor plumbing concerns, but these did not significantly detract from most stays.
Several guests appreciated thoughtful touches like milk, cakes, biscuits, and a ready dog bowl on arrival, though these are not guaranteed. The owner is described as helpful and responsive, enhancing the overall experience.

This is a lovely cottage in a great location. The booking process and arrival process was simple. We arrived to milk in the fridge and some lovely cakes. There was even a dog bowl ready with fresh water for our dog. The family enjoyed the hot tub and the views are amazing. It was a comfortable place to stay we had 5 adults and one child but it would easily accommodate 6 adults comfortably too.We would definitely recommend this as a base for exploring north wales. If you like to see the military planes RAF valley isn’t too far away so we got to see the planes fly over every morning on our trip. Overall lovely comfortable cottage with some great welsh views

We had a very relaxing holiday. Everything you would need is provided. Enjoyed the hot tub in large garden overlooking countryside. Valley is about a mile away, where there are shops, takeaways and a pub. Would definitely book again.
