Beaumaris, with its 13th-century castle and fishing or birdwatching trips, is close by, as is the stunning Red Wharf Bay with its miles of open sands and an excellent waterside restaurant. Hafod y Bryn is also within easy driving distance of the Snowdonia National Park, with its dramatic mountain scenery and myriad of exhilarating outdoor pursuits. Beach ½ mile. A very nice dog-friendly cottage, perfect as a base to explore the beaches and castles of Anglesey. Good kitchen. Excellent shower. Garden fairly small and does slope but quiet spot to relax. Was worried road noise might impact our sleep but didn't bother us. Local pub doesn't allow dogs inside after 6pm (didn't seem keen before 6pm either) but there is another further down the road, or head to the lovely Red Wharf Bay and the Ship Inn, where dogs are very welcome, and the food is of good quality.

A lovely property with all amenities you could need. Ideally located for the beach or for exploring the island or North Wales. The property is well maintained and was clean and tidy. This was our third stay and I would highly recommend.
