Guests say

Meadow View is a well-regarded cottage praised for its cleanliness, prime location near the beach and local amenities, and comfortable setting. Guests appreciate the modern conveniences, spacious garden, and the inclusion of a hot tub and log burner. While some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvement are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several reviews noting it as 'spotless' and 'clean and fresh'. However, a few guests mentioned minor oversights, such as dust in certain areas and outdoor cleanliness, slightly affecting the score.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, shops, and restaurants, contributing to a high score. The convenience and ease of access to local amenities are consistently mentioned as a highlight.

Guests find the property comfortable, noting the cosy log burner and comfortable beds. However, some reviews suggest that the bedroom sizes and furniture could be improved, which slightly reduces the comfort score.

The facilities, including a hot tub and modern conveniences, are appreciated, but several reviews cite maintenance issues such as plumbing and fixtures, which suggests room for improvement in this category.

While guests mention thoughtful touches like dressing gowns for the hot tub and beverages, there is not enough consistent information about gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such amenities are subject to change and not guaranteed.

We never worried about the dogs as all the downstairs flooring is brush able. If there is one thing I noticed and I’m not being picky and it would never stop me recommending it to all my friends and family is that in the shower cubicles there is nowhere to put your soap or shampoo but everything else is perfect. Thank you for having us.

Close to beach and shops. The WiFi and broadband is very poor, you will have difficulty in using it for internet services. It made it difficult to search for and plan for attractions and restaurants to book while on holiday. Also noticed that the cleaning is not as thorough as it should be as there was dust behind the tv sets and some of the bath and sinks weren’t cleaned properly.

The property itself is in need of a bit of a refresh in some areas . Some simple things would help such as having a shower caddy to put your shampoo etc in rather than being on the cubicle floor and put a shoe rack in the hall . Biggest issue for us was the hot tub not being usable due it being set at 40c we were told it was stuck on that temperature and to fix it run some cold water in from the outside shower which didn’t work that well as the water never ran fully cold . Parking isn’t great as we had two cars with allotted spaces but it was quite tight as the two other property's both had a van and car each. We got there early and the owner was great about letting us access the property before 4pm . I think if some of the above points were addressed it could be even better as I said before the location is perfect .
