Benllech has a beach with a slipway as well as a variety of onlooking shops and cafés. The village centre offers more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants. You can easily tour the whole of Anglesey from here, with something to suit every taste from miles of luscious coastline to fascinating history and much to see and do.

Linda and Gwilym, the owners were very friendly and helpful and left a lovely welcome of milk, welsh cakes and shortbread, which was lovely. They were also concerned about our journey as it was the weekend of the terrible storm and kept checking in with us to make sure we arrived safely. We would not hesitate to stay in Rhos Cottage again.

We really appreciated the welcome pack. The conservatory is a great sun trap so we enjoyed sitting in there during the couple of rainy days. If you have a car, the cottage is well placed for visiting many interesting places on Anglesey and on the mainland. We would recommend visiting the woodland at Llangefni to see the red squirrels and the varied bird life. And the nearby beaches at Benllech and Red Wharf Bay are beautiful. We loved it so much we booked our next stay before our week was over.
