History and gardens are right on your doorstep at Plas Newydd, the National Trust house and estate beside the Menai Strait. Explore the elegant house, wander through the gardens and woodland, or simply enjoy the spectacular views towards the mountains of Eryri.

For beach lovers, Anglesey has an incredible choice of coastline. Visit the sweeping sands of Newborough Beach and walk through the dunes towards Llanddwyn Island, one of the island’s most romantic and beautiful locations. Red Wharf Bay, Benllech Beach, Trearddur Bay and Rhosneigr are also wonderful places to spend a day beside the sea, whether you fancy swimming, paddleboarding, watersports or simply relaxing on the sand.
