About this property

Moelfre 1 mile. Woodman's Lodge is a welcoming, single-storey lodge settled into the hamlet of Llanallgo near Moelfre. Close to the coast, a local pub, and the Anglesey National Landscape, this abode is ideal for a couple, and their four-legged companion, to explore the wonders of Anglesey. Park up and make yourself at home, cooking a hearty meal in the well-fitted kitchen, and from here there is a living/dining room with a dining space for two, ideal for romantic meals, and a sitting area where you can put your feet up and reflect on the day's adventures. This property also benefits from a handy utility.

When sleep calls, freshen up in the bathroom, before settling down for the night in the double bedroom. Outside, there is an enclosed garden ideal for dogs, where guests can enjoy morning coffee with a view across the mature trees, dotted with bluebells in the spring. Moelfre offers a welcoming pub and a beach, along with local dining spots such as the Kinmel Arms and Ann’s Pantry. The nearby Traeth Moelfre provides a convenient stretch of coast, while the surrounding area is rich with scenic walks across Anglesey’s National Landscape and along its shoreline. Other beautiful beaches close at hand include Traeth Lligwy, with additional places of interest such as Porth Newydd, Traeth Porth Wen with its historic brickworks, and the Anglesey Coastal Path.

A short distance away, Benllech features a variety of shops, pubs and eateries, as well as a spacious sandy beach where you can enjoy traditional fish and chips. The area also offers plenty of opportunities for fishing, wild swimming and a range of watersports. Make a memorable retreat to Anglesey with a stay at Woodman's Lodge.

Situated on the beautiful east coast of Anglesey, Moelfre is a delightful seaside village, boasting little cottages, a picturesque port, a beach, fine views of Snowdonia, a working lifeboat, and two quality pubs/restaurants. Visit the hugely popular local Seawatch Centre, enjoy fishing or watching sea birds, seals and even dolphins, or discover wonderful cliff-top walks with stunning mountain views. The village has many historic links, the most recent being the site of the tragic Royal Charter shipwreck in 1859. There are stunning sandy beaches nearby, at Benllech and Lligwy, and the lovely Red Wharf Bay, with its miles of open sands and birdlife. A perfect location for travelling around this lovely island and throughout beautiful Snowdonia.
