Fantastic sized gardens with many amenities. Although throughout the stay we did consider the property good not great. It has the potential to be outstanding and paying the amount we paid we did expect a little more. Improvements to be made include maintenance of the garden as it was very overgrown. Wardrobe needed in each room and the clothes rails were not substantial and one actually collapsed on top of me. The upstairs shower does not drain and the door comes off the runner. Mould in downstairs bathroom and general dust and dirt everywhere else. Oven was disgusting. Pictures hanging off walls. TV hardly any signal and channels. Instructions about recommendations are outdated. Lose wires everywhere, some not even connected to anything. Many of these comments have been written in the visitors book since 2019 and have not been rectified. If many people are saying the same things then surely something needs to be done about it. I just thought if I had a property like this I would proud of what it could be and the general up keep of it. A little disappointed but a very nice house in a quiet location which suited our family. Thankyou for letting us stay.

There was plenty of space for our group of 8 and the beds were very comfortable. The garden was great for our 3 grand children to play in. The lounge big enough for us all with comfy sofa and chairs. The management company answered our questions promptly and even brought us the requested larger teapot round - great service. Some small improvements would greatly enhance the house; a fire guard for the aga and wood burner, and a handrail at the steps down to the garden are definitely needed. While kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and the house and equipment generally clean, some of the skirtings needed washing and dusting and there were a lot of cobwebs. I understand old houses can be dusty and prone to cobwebs but these were ‘elderly’ dust and cobwebs. I would book the house again and recommend it for family groups .

The beds are so comfortable and the linen felt lovely and fresh. Lovely fresh towels were left for us too. The kitchen is fully equipped and the Aga is a fabulous addition keeping the kitchen constantly cosy and warm, the dogs loved it. It’s in a fabulous location with beach walks on the doorstep. The pool table was a huge success with the kids and the men
