Or visit the Dyfi Osprey Centre or the rspb Ynyshir Wildlife Reserve for some scenic walks and birdwatching. The Nant Yr Arian visitor centre offers a wide range of waymarked trails for walkers, runners and mountain bikers and you can watch the daily feeding of hundreds of red kites. For the hardcore mountain bikers, visit the Dyfi Bike Park with its technical downhill trails handcrafted by Dan Atherton. The beautiful mountains of Cader Idris and Pumlumon are a short drive away and King Arthurs Labrynth and the Silver Mountain Experience both offer opportunities to explore old mines and learn about the mining history of the area. Take a walk down the dramatic Devils bridge Falls or hop on the Vale of Rheidol steam train to see the beautiful local scenery. Or simply take a short walk to the village of Borth, visible from the pods, to enjoy the beautiful blue flag sandy beach and enjoy the local shops, cafes, cinema and restaurants that Borth has to offer. The vibrant University town of Aberystwyth is just a few miles drive away and offers restaurants, supermarkets, its beautiful promenade and much more for you to enjoy.
