This thoughtfully designed cabin has been built with sustainability at its core. Set on raised decking facing the lake, it has large glass doors that flood the interior with natural light. This property's eco credentials include solar panels and a water-saving system. The bioethanol wood burner provides cosy warmth on cool evenings. There is no TV or Wi-Fi to distract you. The studio-style layout features a small kitchenette with all the basics for rustling up simple meals, and a plush double bed set beneath a feature circular window. A shower with a water-saving system allows to you refresh in comfort while outside, a bistro table and chairs along with a fire pit invites al fresco meals and stargazing beneath the stars. Private parking is available for one car, and guests are invited to explore the grounds, almost an acre of tranquil landscape and woodland with views towards the coast.
This is a great destination for nature lovers, with the Cors Caron wetlands reserve (11.5 miles) and the red kite feeding station at Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre (24 miles) nearby. History enthusiasts can visit Ystrad Fflur (15 miles), a grand medieval abbey where generations of Welsh princes are buried. Alternatively, head west to pick up the coast path and explore coastal towns and villages including Aberaeron, New Quay (13 miles) and Aberystwyth (16.5 miles).
