We were lucky enough to have sunshine everyday. The location is stunning with many walks near by and lovely pub and hotels to travel out to.The owners have made the house very comfortable with lovely modern decor and a bath in the master bedroom which was fab! The games room is great and well kitted out for young and old and the space for kids to kick a ball about and have some freedom is perfect. We sadly had awful neighbours for 3 days which is of no degriment to the accommodation and they seemed quite happy to ruin the peaceful, beautiful location from morning till evening? Even when asked kindly to turn their god awful music down they whacked it up higher then had loud conversation over the music that we had to listen to? Very sad and incredibly selfish. We were all there to relax and recoup after loosing my mother recently and us all working really long hours. Luckily they left and the holiday got a whole lot better instantly! The hot tub was a real treat and beautiful sunsets every evening made it very special. Would recommend the Devil's bridge steps and having a drink at the hotel overlooking the valley. The chocolate shop ice creams are very tasty. Aberystwyth is a lovely old fashioned Victorian see side town with yummy fish and chips. Haddon estate had some incredible walks all marked out too. Lastly the Chinese in Tregaron is tasty after a busy day out and about too.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and spotless cottage – it truly had everything we needed for a perfect weekend break. The views were stunning, and relaxing in the hot tub was a real highlight.Set on a working farm, it was an absolute treat for our child, who loved seeing the cows and sheep every day. The huge garden at the back, complete with a children’s play area, was an added bonus. There was also a communal games room with table tennis, pool and football tables, which we all enjoyed. It’s wonderfully remote – right in the middle of nowhere – which was exactly what we wanted for a peaceful birthday weekend. The cottage owners were so lovely and welcoming, which made the stay even more special. We would absolutely love to come back again, and next time we’d love to hire all three cottages and bring along more family and friends.
