Guests say

The Stall in Swansea is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, stunning location, and the warmth of its host, Gwyneth. Guests consistently mention the property's cosiness and the beautiful surrounding scenery, ideal for walks and beach visits. While some minor issues are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests frequently commend the cottage for its cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean' and 'well-equipped'. The attention to detail in maintaining the property's tidiness is evident, contributing to the high score in this category.

The location is celebrated for its tranquillity and proximity to beautiful beaches and countryside walks. Despite some comments about the need for a car and the remoteness, the scenic views and peaceful setting are highly valued by guests.

Comfort is a strong point for The Stall, with guests finding the property cosy and warm. However, a note about the twin beds being too narrow for adults slightly impacts the score, suggesting room for improvement in sleeping arrangements for some guests.

The cottage is generally well-equipped, but some guests mention issues with the shower and a suggestion for WiFi. The presence of a well-equipped kitchen and the provision of heating are positives, but the mentioned maintenance issues lead to a slightly lower score.

The host's thoughtfulness is frequently highlighted, with mentions of a warm welcome, complimentary Welsh cakes, and helpfulness. While these gestures are appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches, though common, should not be expected by all future guests.

The property was clean and stocked with little extras (tea, coffee, milk and Welsh cakes) so we could rest and settle in after our arrival. Internet signal was great and being able to stream my Netflix and BBC IPlayer accounts through the to was great. The facilities were great- the washer dryer was good and I also used the washing line. The location was good- windy at night but so peaceful and dark- excellent for star gazing. There was a really comprehensive welcome folder and additional leaflets and a map. It was an ideal base for visits across the area and we loved driving past the sheep and horses on the roads to get to them. A really great experience and I’d love to come back.
