Surfing lessons and hire, hang gliding, horse riding and cycling are all available locally. A trip to Mumbles, 9¾ miles, is not to be missed complete with light house, Mumbles pier and a lifeboat station. Swansea is a short drive away, 12 miles, with a plethora of restaurants, markets and marina. Within an hours’ drive and well worth a visit is the lively capital city of Cardiff, with its National Museum of Wales at St Fagans, as well as the Cardiff Bay area. For golf enthusiasts, Pennard Golf Club is 4½ miles away. Beach 1½ miles. Shop 5 miles, pub and restaurant 2¾ miles.
