Once a former farm workers’ cottage and now a lovingly restored holiday home, this property sleeps six guests and is super spacious. A dedicated National Landscape, the Gower Peninsula is filled with lots of lovely beauty spots to visit, including stunning sandy beaches. History lovers can enjoy the ruins of Pennard Castle (1.5 miles) or the quaint Weobley Castle (5.5 miles). Take a gentle stroll to the remains of the prehistoric King Arthur’s Stone Dolmen (4.5 miles) and be rewarded with far-reaching views. The Gower Coast Path also provides scenic walking routes. Spend a day soaking up the sun on Three Cliffs Bay Beach (1.5 miles) and visit the bustling village of Mumbles (6.5 miles), which has plenty of options for eating and shopping.
Step inside this welcoming retreat and leave your walking boots or beach gear in the hallway before heading into one of the two wonderful lounges. Both spaces have beamed ceilings and offer different atmospheres. One lounge has an open fire place and a Smart TV where you can watch movies or socialise of an evening, whereas the second living space is more of a snug for reading or playing games. The stylish kitchen/diner has exposed stone walling and plenty of space for cooking and eating together. Finishing up the ground floor is a utility room and a WC. As the day turns to night, climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find the three lovely bedrooms, a double with an en-suite shower room, and two twin bedrooms which can make use of the contemporary family bathroom.
Outside, enjoy dining alfresco or playing on the lawn in the large, enclosed garden, which has garden furniture and overlooks the surrounding farm. Private parking is available for two cars.
