Alpine Lodge is praised for its stunning views and peaceful location, ideal for exploring North Wales. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and the warm welcome from hosts. While some find the lodge and its amenities in need of updates and maintenance, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment of the natural surroundings.
Most guests found the lodge to be clean upon arrival, with several positive remarks about its cleanliness. However, a few reports of dog mess and a dirty barbecue slightly lower the score.
The location is highly praised for its superb views and proximity to local attractions, beaches, and Snowdonia. It serves as a great base for exploring North Wales, contributing to a high score.
Guests generally find the lodge comfortable, with comfy beds and a cosy atmosphere. Some concerns about low sofas and a small shower detract from the comfort for certain guests.
While the kitchen is well-appointed and the lodge is tidy, there are multiple mentions of maintenance issues such as a lack of freezer, problems with the shower, and worn-out decking. These factors necessitate a moderate score.
