There is an open plan living room/kitchen, with a separate dining room with French doors overlooking the pretty rear garden and large patio, perfect for al fresco dining. There are village pubs within easy reach, and despite its quiet, rural location, Dolfran Bach makes an ideal base from which to explore the nearby north Wales coast. From the amazing Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay, to the Great Orme in Victorian Llandudno, there is so much for you to explore and discover. Visit historic Conwy with its Edward I castle and town walls, catch a wave (or just a coffee) at Surf Snowdonia in the Conwy Valley, or bounce in treetop nets and take a ride on the Fforest Coaster at Zip World Fforest in Betws-y-Coed. Beach 4 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub 2½ miles, restaurant ½ mile.

Stayed for first week of February. Absolutely exceptional place and the hospitality way beyond anything we have experienced in our many years of staying in holiday cottages. The bungalow is spacious, was spotless and unlike many places we stay... everything worked properly. Well stocked with everything you could possibly need everywhere. The week we stayed was cold and very wet.... returning after a day out was an absolute pleasure to a warm cozy atmosphere that had clearly been very well thought out. Thank you to Rhiannon and Co for a fabulous time and I sincerely hope we are able to return some time in future.

I cannot recommend Dolfran Bach highly enough. The cottage itself is absolutely lovely, spotless, comfortable, and set in such a peaceful rural location. It had everything I needed to feel at home, and the garden was a perfect quiet spot to decompress at the end of the day.However, what truly made this stay exceptional were the hosts, Rhian and Bobby. I was staying here under difficult circumstances to visit my father in the local hospital, and their kindness made a world of difference. They went completely over and above to make sure I was supported and comfortable. It is rare to find hosts who genuinely care so much about their guests.If you are looking for a base in North Wales that offers both comfort and incredibly warm hospitality, this is the place. I will definitely be returning under happier circumstances.

We had a great time whilst holidaying at Dolfran Bach. The owners (along with their animals) were friendly and welcoming. Ideal base for exploring the local area including Welsh Mountain Zoo, Conwy Castle and Snowdonia.
