The cottage was built in 1829 and is the perfect place for couples or families to spend some quality time together, within easy reach of amenities and the beach. Inside, the property features an open-plan living space where you can relish cooking and dining experiences. The space has a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a sitting area with a TV and a woodburning stove for cosying up in the evenings. When it is time to rest, choose from two well-presented bedrooms; the first bedroom has a fantastic super-king-size bed, with the option of a zip/link bed, and a TV, while the second bedroom has a plush king-size bed and a TV, perfect for lazy mornings in bed. In the warmer months, be sure to spend time in the tiered garden, which is well-landscaped and an outdoor haven to enjoy. It benefits from being south facing, ensuring sunshine throughout the day and well into the evening. You can find the local village pub just moment’s away or take one of the many country walks that are available straight from the door of the cottage. You can also venture into the nearby towns and villages to explore further. Abergele is a beautiful market town in Conwy, North Wales, with its stunning coastline and beaches, which are on the Welsh Coastal Route and Cycle Path. Explore its hidden beauty and surroundings, including the majestic Gwrych Castle, as featured on ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’, the tranquil Pentre Mawr Park and the fun-filled Manorafon Farm Park. The popular town of Conwy is also just a scenic car journey away and is known for its beautiful Castle, Harbour, and individual quirky shops. The coastal resort of Llandudno is also on the doorstep, with it’s stunning ‘Great Orme’, which has the availability of many walks or a cable car ride to take in the wonderful views. It also has a Snowsports Centre, where you can ski on the dry ski slope and have a go on the toboggan run. You can then take a walk along the beautiful Promenade and The Pier, which are stunning attractions, and maybe hop on a coastal boat ride. For the ‘outdoors’ person, Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, with its well-known climbs, scrambles and walks is easily accessible by car. The area is also famous for ‘Zip World’ and ‘Surf Snowdonia’. For a chill out day, head to Bodnant Gardens which is a world-class garden and Grade I listed historical gem. If you’re up for a bit of retail therapy, visit the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet which you will find further afield, be sure to make a stop at the historic walled city of Chester along the way! Bring your loved ones to enjoy a stay at St. George House and experience all that North Wales has to offer.
Abergele, a charming North Wales coastal resort, is conveniently located between the picturesque Vale of Clwyd and the beautiful Conwy Valley. Safe bathing waters and good watersports facilities are available in this location, which is also known for the magnificent Gwrych Castle, which towers over the town. Abergele has a coastal cycle path that follows the shoreline, and neighbouring attractions like the Clwydian Hill Range and picturesque Betws-y-Coed, regarded as the "Gateway to Eryri (Snowdonia)," are great for walkers. Llandudno is a charming award-winning Victorian town with fine shops, restaurants, a fantastic dry ski slope, and exhilarating cable car excursions over the Great Orme, and the stunning castles of Rhuddlan, Bodelwyddan, Conwy, and Caernarfon are easily accessible by vehicle. This is a great place to visit any time of year because there is always something exciting to do here.
