Guests say

Garreg Wen is a well-received cottage offering stunning views, comfort, and a well-equipped space. Guests appreciate its cleanliness, peaceful location, and the thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper. While some mention minor issues with decor and internet connectivity, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The cottage is consistently described as immaculate, spotlessly clean, and well-kept, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that guests appreciate.

The location is praised for its tranquillity, stunning views, and proximity to local attractions. Some guests note the steep access road, but the scenic payoff is deemed worthwhile.

Comfort is highlighted with mentions of a cosy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and a homely feel. A few guests noted the lounge area as slightly dark and the heating system as outdated, slightly affecting the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped and maintained. Some guests suggest improvements like better internet and more modern heating, which slightly impacts the score.

While guests mention thoughtful gestures such as a welcome hamper, there is not enough information to guarantee such gifts for future guests, and thus a score cannot be provided.

An excellent cottage, spotless, with everything you needed for holiday in North Wales. Fantastic views as well. Although it is a bit of a pain to drive through along narrow lanes with very few passing places, the standard of accommodation, welcome from the owner and amazing views, are well worth the effort.
