Beach Retreat is a wonderful lodge nestled in a gorgeous caravan park, right in the centre of Towyn and in walking distance of the beach. This dwelling features high-quality fittings, spacious rooms, and contemporary amenities, perfect for a small family looking to explore North Wales. Make your way into the caravan park through a secure gated entrance, driving down the tranquil road until you reach Beach Retreat. The stunning lodge welcomes you into a quiet green lawn area accompanied by garden seating which you can use on a crisp autumn morning as you enjoy your morning coffee and breathe in the fresh sea air.
Walk up three steps to the entrance, kitted out with decking, a porch canopy and evening light, into the high-quality open-plan living area, featuring a kitchen, dining space and a sitting area. Fill yourself up on a hearty breakfast as you sit at the breakfast bar with views into the kitchen, equipped with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, and built-in microwave. Family meals can be enjoyed from the delightful wooden bench dining table, also a great space to challenge your loved ones to a competitive card game. Opposite is a beautifully decorated lounge with natural light coming through the tall patio doors, sit back on one of the two large plush sofas as you put in your favourite DVD brought from home into the wall-mounted TV.
After a long day of fun at the beach, find a gorgeous double bedroom which boasts a luxury walk-in wardrobe, as well as a TV for those lazy Sunday mornings, the kids will love the adjacent bunk room, a stylish bedroom with fun cubby storage and mirrored wardrobes. Take your pick between a refreshing morning shower, or a soothing evening bath in the family bathroom, fitted with sleek laminate flooring and a lovely floating basin. The caravan site which the lodge is found on benefits from a small convenience store with essentials, a delicious fish and chip shop, and a launderette for any washing you need to do.
A quick stroll out of the property takes you right into Towyn town centre, with easy access to a whole host of handy shops, local pubs, fun arcades, and tasty food options, whilst the glorious sandy beach is a stone's throw away. For a fun-filled family day out, you can find Knightly's Fun Park right next to the property, a popular entertainment complex which boasts thrill-seeking rides, classic seaside arcades, as well as a vibrant bar and restaurant, Tir Prince Leisure Park is also another short walk away, where you can explore the famous Harness Raceway, weekly market, and more exhilarating rides.
Take a short drive over to the fellow coastal resort Rhyl, discovering their fabulous SeaQuarium, splashing away in the SC2 Rhyl water park, or exploring the ruins of a 13th century fortress at Rhuddlan Castle. The Clwydian Mountain range is made up of several hills, perfect for hikers and ramblers, they run from Llandegla to Prestatyn, with Moel Famau reaching the highest point.
