Outside, there’s a shared rear courtyard filled with plants and flowers, complete with a garden table and chairs, perfect for planning the day ahead or enjoying a quiet cuppa. We also have another apartment, Gwydir Bach, in the same building, ideal if you’re looking to book both for a large family get-together! Llanrwst itself is home to some truly stunning walks and breathtaking scenery. Don’t miss the iconic Pont Fawr bridge, built in 1636, with the famous Tu Hwnt i’r Bont tearooms just to the side. The local shops include O.E. Metcalfe, the butcher’s market, offering a brilliant variety with friendly, welcoming staff. The Health Store has a fantastic selection of fruit, veg, oils and vitamins – and delivers fresh sourdough every Tuesday and Friday. The Eagles serves amazing Indian cuisine for dine-in or takeaway, along with a delicious Sunday carvery. Or, if you just fancy a quiet drink by the river, it’s a beautiful spot to unwind. The Tannery is a must for breakfast, simply incredible. Spar stocks a great range of local baked goods, chutneys, meats and cheeses.
