A complimentary welcome hamper will be awaiting you on your arrival containing milk, tea, fresh coffee, bread, butter, eggs, juice, wine and cheese, along with other essential items to prepare a light snack or breakfast. There may be some regional variations.

Situated on the banks of the River Conwy, against a stunning mountainous backdrop is Conwy's magnificent Edwardian Castle. Cottage was nice and well prepared for our arrival. Welcome hamper was very generous. Spacious enough for 4 people but not for 6. Parking was issue as we were never able to park on the street.We also had a problem with noise at night from pub to the rear of the cottage.

The noise from seagulls was a small problem, as they were raising chicks on all the surrounding roofs and chimney stacks. For some reason, seagulls never sleep, as they kept it up all day AND night!As to the property, we could have done with somewhere to dry our laundry (an airing rack would have been enough).

The cottage is lovely, clean, very well laid out, and in a great location. We spent a lovely Christmas there. We where however a little disappointed in the beds, they need updating. Also there was promise of a welcome pack (which should have included bread, butter, milk) but there was none, and after a long flight with 3 kiddies, it was a disappointment to have to go out looking for a local shop, late at night. Lucky its 2 minute's away.
