Offa’s Dyke, which stretches for 177 miles, attracts walkers from all over the world, thanks to its stunning scenery, woodland, forts, abbeys, flora and fauna and is very accessible from here. Other places of interest nearby include National Trust’s Erdigg, 14 miles, Chirk Castle, 18 miles, Bodnant Gardens, 24 miles, Holywell, 9 miles and Llangollen,18 miles. Some of North Wales’ popular beach resorts such as Talacre, Rhyl and Prestatyn can be reached within half an hour by car and Snowdonia can be reached in just under an hour.
