About this property

Wave Crest is situated on the hillside above the beautiful coastal village of Aberdaron at the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Wave Crest is situated on the hillside above the beautiful coastal village of Aberdaron at the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with stunning beaches and coastal walks. It is just a 0.75 mile walk or drive into the village itself and to the beach. Abersoch 10 miles, Pwllheli 15 miles and approximately 30 miles to the Snowdonia National Park.

The bungalow is comfortably furnished and, as it is all on one level, suitable for those with limited mobility. The living room has a cosy open fire (initial logs and coal provided then available locally), Flatscreen TV/Freeview/DVD and great views to the coast. The modern kitchen diner has a dishwasher and washing machine. There are three bedrooms: a double and a twin with great sea views, and a second twin bedroom. The shower room has a large shower cubicle with an electric shower. Heating is by storage heaters, electric panel heaters and the open fire.  Outside is an enclosed lawn area with a seating bench and private parking for several cars.

Aberdaron is a great little village with a stunning beach and promenade, award winning bars (with free WiFi), a village bakery, cafes and a fish and chip shop selling locally caught seafood. The Wales Coast Path is on your doorstep with stunning walks in both directions and the National Trust has a fabulous new visitor/interpretation centre, Porth Y Swnt, by the beach. Watersports are very popular at Aberdaron, with golf and fishing also available at Pwllheli. The popular seaside town of Abersoch is 10 miles away and the famous castle at Criccieth 25 miles. A scenic drive of 30-50 miles will take you to the Snowdonia National Park, an area of stunning natural beauty with a wealth of visitor attractions such as the Welsh Highland Railway, Caernarfon Castle and Zip World aerial zip wire.

Electricity and heating included.

Bed linen provided.
