Minffordd is just a stone's throw away from the vibrant city of Bangor which overlooks the Menai Strait; you can look forward to strolling along Bangor Promenade and venturing out along Garth Pier for lovely views over the water and out to Anglesey. Enjoy the excellent choice of pubs and restaurants in Bangor, along with supermarkets and shops, as well as a lively night scene in this university town. Bangor is also home to its own array of history to be discovered at Cadeirlan Bangor Cathedral and Gwynedd Museum & Art Gallery, both worth a visit for history enthusiasts. On sunny days, head to the Isle of Anglesey to find a fabulous selection of beaches at Benllech, Beaumaris and Newborough to name a few, as well as the Anglesey Sea Zoo, Foel Farm Park and Anglesey Model Village & Café.
