About this property

Lying in the popular town of Bangor and overlooking the beautiful Menai Strait to Anglesey is Pier View 1 Garth Terrace, a large family holiday home set over four floors. Enjoying picture-perfect views of Garth Pier and the Menai Strait from several rooms, this fabulous property benefits from spacious accommodation, a Cinema/TV room and is ideal for a large family. Come together within the open-plan living space on the ground floor, boasting an amply-equipped fitted kitchen, a dining table for all to gather around, soft seating and a Smart TV, and a cute set of armchairs perched before the bay window.

Head downstairs to the fabulous cinema room, complete with a large wall-mounted TV to watch a favourite film on from the comfort of the leather sofas, with a second kitchen home to a fabulous drinks fridge and a cloakroom too. Back on the ground floor is another cloakroom, whilst upstairs guests can freshen up in the family bathroom, with all the bedrooms featuring a basin unit and light and airy interiors. Discover two first-floor bedrooms comprising a double and a twin with an en-suite shower room, while upstairs on the second floor there are three more sleeping spots, including a king-size, another double and finally a single, served by a shower room up here too.

The garden is laid out over three tiers and makes a serene spot for alfresco dining at the picnic benches, allowing you to soak up the sights and sounds of the Strait amidst the company of your loved ones. You won't have to venture far to find all you need on your self-catered stay, with shops, pubs, restaurants and bars all just a short walk away, along with beautiful green areas within the town right on your doorstep. Visit the National Trust's Penrhyn Castle to browse the painting collection here and industrial railway museum, with further historic sites to be found on Anglesey in Beaumaris, home to Beaumaris Castle.

The GreenWood Family Park is perfect for families with children, whilst the Plas Menai National Outdoor Centre will be a delight for thrill-seekers and watersports enthusiasts. The beautiful Plas Newydd House and Gardens is another National Trust property worth visiting on Anglesey, not far from the Anglesey Sea Zoo and the Foel Farm Park. Venture into the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park to find stunning natural beauty spots like Aber Falls, reached via scenic meadow hike before coming to the waterfall. Zip World Penrhyn Quarry makes for a memorable day out, with a 5000ft high zip line taking you on a mile-long ride as you soak up panoramic and far-reaching views of the quarry and coastline beyond.

The village of Llanberis in the shadow of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) boasts plenty of attractions including the National Slate Museum, Dolbadarn Castle and the Snowdon Mountain Railway taking you up to the magnificent summit of Wales' highest mountain. Bring your loved ones together at delightful home in North Wales.

Bangor is a town resting in North Wales overlooking the Menai Strait. It is a university town and therefore boasts a wealth of amenities, pubs, bars and restaurants, making it a lively place to visit amidst the beautiful scenery of North Wales and Anglesey. The two road bridges that run across the Menai Strait to Anglesey make Bangor a great base for trips to the island, as well as adventures on the mainland across Eryri (Snowdonia) and the north and west coastlines.

Ground floor toilet roll holder needs replacing as was just a broken spike.Cooker poor. Downstairs wc had note on door saying not in use. Garden and terrace were not usable due to manhole outside back door overflowing constantly and running down the garden - (this must be why the wc was not in use) this must be an ongoing situation as per previous comment in visitors book. Situation was reported but not acted upon in time for our weekend use. Whoever came to sort the drain left the back door and side gate open and did power wash the terrace so still unclean for use.
