Quarry Cottage is a spacious mid-terraced property and is ideal for a family holiday in North Wales. It is conveniently located, just a short walk from a good selection of shops, pubs and cafés. Bethesda is a former slate town on the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park and is now famously the home of North Wales’ most exciting attraction, Zip World. The Ogwen Valley is less than a mile away and is a superb spot for outdoor enthusiasts, with exhilarating walking opportunities, and Snowdon itself is easily accessible from nearby Llanberris. Quarry Cottage also offers storage for bikes, with a traffic-free cycle route starting in Bethesda and heading towards the university town of Bangor, home of the National Trust’s Penrhyn Castle. Caernarfon and Conwy with their magnificent castles are nearby, and the Isle of Anglesey with its 125 miles of coastline, is easily accessible. Beach 7 miles. Shop and restaurant ½ mile, pub ¼ mile.

A stay here enabled us a few days of exploring the area. A well loved cottage with plenty of space for the family.

I can't recommend Quarry cottage for these reasons. The cottage was over powering on entering due to excessive use of a strong bleach cleaner which took days to clear The kitchen was very tired and outside in the patio area there were lots of weeds. The stairs to the upstairs rooms were very steep and the bathroom was in need of a good deep clean outside and inside the shower cubicle which leaked after shower, it also needed a new floor covering . I would recommend replacing the towels as the ones left were marked and had holes. Over use of fabric conditioner on bedding and towels was overpowering .I suggest once these things are sorted out the terrace house would be ok

Stayed here as it was close to the Velocity Zipwire which was our reason for visiting.Accommodation is good, clean & had everything you need. Bottle of wine, milk & cake was a welcome surprise so thank you.Good pubs within a 10/15 minute walk over the field behind the house.Many thanks
