Caernarfon, 6 miles, with its majestic castle, offers golf, fishing, swimming, and tennis, while the nearest beach is just a mile away. There are pubs serving food at Clynnog, 2.5 miles. Shops and PO in Pen y Groes 2 miles.

We had a fabulous Christmas getaway to this cottage which we would thoroughly recommend and will hopefully return to. It's very spacious and thoughtfully well equipped with every conceivable home from home essential. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of life (if that is what you are wanting) yet close enough to Caernarfon when required. The sea view and glorious sunsets from the conservatory are as superb as other reviews suggest. There is plenty to visit in the local area and Rhandir -Mwyn always felt welcoming on our return. The central heating and electric fireplace were super efficient at making the place snug and toasty warm to kick back and relax. Modern 4K Smart TV had an excellent picture and the viewing apps for us to login to. Additional freestanding fridge and freezer provided much needed space for Christmas food and beverages.
