Bontnewydd is a small rural community in southern Snowdonia, nestled along the banks of the River Wnion and amidst breathtaking forested hills and towering mountains. Barmouth, Fairbourne, and Aberdovey are conveniently located, as are the beautiful Cader Idris Mountain Range and Coed Y Brenin Forest Park, which are home to some of the best mountain biking in Europe. Dolgellau, a nearby town, has a variety of shops, pubs, and restaurants, and many of the nearby coastal resorts have top-notch dining options as well. Easily accessible mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles, and beaches provide the perfect setting for peaceful outdoor recreation.

    So clean, comfortable, and quiet, but near to good eating places and not too far from shops. Well placed to visit North Wales coast, Anglesey, and Llyn peninsula. Very friendly and accommodating owners. We have booked to go again, need we say more?!
