The people were lovely and checking in was easy. Might be worth stating in the listing that you have to pay for electric so £1 coins are needed. The lodge was in a great location and very peaceful and we all loved the fishing which is why we booked this place, as my husband and kids wanted to fish. There are loads of fish to be caught. The lodge its self was tidy but not very clean and could do with a bit of a facelift. New curtains, table cloth had a big burn mark on it. Some cabinet doors were mising and I did have to clean the things we used from the kitchen as they didnt feel like they had been. We only had breakfast at the lodge so wasnt that bad for us. The bins in the bedrooms and bathroom had not been cleaned. There were quite a few cobwebs inside and out. Apart from that we had a lovely stay and for the price and location we found it very reasonable.
