The Dutch barns (UK12872 and UK12873) are superb, semi-detached barn conversions each offering modern open plan living with a luxurious touch and lovely private hot tubs in enclosed courtyards (towels not provided). They each have a kingsize bedroom and a twin room, making them ideal for small families or couples. Kris Kin (ref OXU) is a charming detached barn conversion with oak beams, wooden floor, well-equipped kitchen and an en-suite bathroom. This property also has its own hot tub.
The surroundings are alive with snowdrops in winter and bluebells in spring. The complex is a short drive away from the beach and castle at Criccieth, and a lovely selection of restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. Situated on the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula, the area is perfect for walking and cycling with an abundance of lovely footpaths and peaceful country lanes. Just under 5 miles away is the lovely town of Porthmadog, with its pretty harbour and the start of fabulous narrow gauge steam train rides on the world famous Ffestiniog railway, which takes you deep into the heart of the magnificent Snowdonia National Park. The Italianate village of Portmeirion, zip wires and a great selection of golf courses are all close by. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2¼ miles.

From the moment you step into the barn, you’re greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that instantly feels like home. The views are absolutely breathtaking—revealed the moment you walk into the garden—and they make you fall in love with the mountains straight away.The hot tub is perfectly placed, offering uninterrupted views of the stunning landscape. Our stay was made even more special by the beautiful weather; sitting in the hot tub as the sun set over the mountains was nothing short of magical.The garden is spacious, secure, and ideal for our two dogs, who thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The bedrooms were another standout feature, with unique star-view windows above the beds that added a truly special touch.We will definitely be returning—an unforgettable stay that deserves more than five stars.

The hot tub was a great way to unwind each evening after we had hiked all day.The Dutch Barn One was clean and tidy and had everything you would need for a home from home. We would definitely recommend and would love to return in the not to distance future.
