The Dutch barns (UK12872 and UK12873) are superb, semi-detached barn conversions each offering modern open plan living with a luxurious touch and lovely private hot tubs in enclosed courtyards (towels not provided). They each have a kingsize bedroom and a twin room, making them ideal for small families or couples. Kris Kin (ref OXU) is a charming detached barn conversion with oak beams, wooden floor, well-equipped kitchen and an en-suite bathroom. This property also has its own hot tub.
The surroundings are alive with snowdrops in winter and bluebells in spring. The complex is a short drive away from the beach and castle at Criccieth, and a lovely selection of restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. Situated on the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula, the area is perfect for walking and cycling with an abundance of lovely footpaths and peaceful country lanes. Just under 5 miles away is the lovely town of Porthmadog, with its pretty harbour and the start of fabulous narrow gauge steam train rides on the world famous Ffestiniog railway, which takes you deep into the heart of the magnificent Snowdonia National Park. The Italianate village of Portmeirion, zip wires and a great selection of golf courses are all close by. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2¼ miles.

Lovely accommodation. Beautiful location. Well equipped and owners are on site for any issues. Hot tub is a lovely bonus. Really enjoyed our week here and would definitely revisit.

We had a lovely few days in Dutch Barn one- it was interesting to see the photos of how the owners had created them. The location is beautiful, very peaceful in a pretty valley with good walking from the door and Criccieth only a couple of miles away. The owner was friendly and helpful and the cottage was spotless. The downstairs configuration could be better for four adults and wasn’t as pictured, similarly the outside space and furniture could be so much more. However, we had our own camping chairs and spent most of our time outside soaking up the views, peace and, of course enjoying the hot tub! Would definitely return.
