Aberkin is a working farm (cattle and sheep), situated amidst peaceful countryside on the outskirts of Llanystumdwy, birthplace of Lloyd George. Situated on the Llŷn Peninsula, Snowdonia National Park is only a few miles away.
Dwyfach (ref B5884) and Dwyfor (ref B5885) are single-storey holiday cottages, and were originally farm buildings, dating from 1790, and have been converted into cosy, welcoming properties, each having wheelchair access.
The surrounding area has ample holiday pursuits, including walking, sailing and golf, and with the rivers Dwyfor and Dwyfach, each flowing to the sea on the boundary of the farm. The properties are only 500 yards from the main coast road. Horse riding nearby. Ideal for golf. Shops, pubs and the sheltered sandy beach of Criccieth is only 1½ miles away.
There is limited wifi signal at this property. No pets. Towels are not provided, please remember to take your own towels.

This is a very comfortable, well equipped cottage close to a range of opportunities. We enjoyed visiting the Lloyd George museum, Rhiw gardens and the art gallery at Llanbedrog as well as finding lots of walks, beaches and pilgrim places all within an hour by car. Meals out e.g. at Dylan’s (Criccieth)and Cafe Ni (Wern) were delicious and there was good coffee widely available!Ceri made sure we were well looked after and was able to recommend local places of interest. Thank you for a great week.
