The lovely seaside town of Criccieth offers a 13th century castle, watersports, two beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.

Our stay was SO relaxing... that bed is a trap, you will not want to get out of it! Very clean and tidy, ingenious use of space to get the most out of it. Despite roofers doing work l0opposite, we got a parking space outside the window every day. *Word of warning, take your time with the tap in the kitchen, it thinks it's a power shower*!

It has been so well thought out. The main room has lovely furniture.The bed is really comfortable, as are the chairs. The shower is a good one, and the kitchen is well equipped - only a potato peeler was lacking! Criccieth is such a beautiful location, with plenty of accommodation, but we have stayed in Y castell twice now, and plan to stay again if we are in that area.

...! It was very modern...clean....equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need....and the location was SUPERB...! My partner and I really enjoyed staying here and we will be definitely come back.... FAULTLESS....! Thanks to both Arwel and Elen for allowing us the opportunity to stay...x
