When the day slows, settle into the sitting area with a film on the TV, feet up after a long walk.

The layout is simple and well-suited for families or friends, featuring two bedrooms: one double and one twin. This arrangement is ideal for splitting up after busy days by the coast and lake. Start mornings with a quick rinse in the shower room’s walk-in shower, then head outside with a mug in hand and take a seat on the decking, where the lake takes centre stage, and the surrounding woodland sets the scene for nature-led days. With two pets welcome, there’s room for four-legged companions to join you on your adventures, from shoreline strolls to woodland wanders. You’re well placed for exploring the Llŷn Peninsula.

Head into Criccieth to enjoy its sweeping beach and visit Criccieth Castle for sea views and local history. Spend a day in Porthmadog, browsing the harbour area and hopping aboard the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways for a scenic ride through the landscape. For a change of pace, Pwllheli offers a lively marina, seaside walks, and a handy spot for refreshments between outings. However you choose to spend your time, Lodge 1 - Bron Eifion sets you up for lake days and coastal discoveries. Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, now known as Eryri, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Eryri mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Eryri National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
