The open-plan living space brings together the kitchen, dining area, and sitting area, creating a natural hub for shared meals, board games, or winding down with the TV after a day outside.
The dining table encourages everyone to gather, while the sitting area provides a relaxed spot to settle into the evening. The lodge offers two bedrooms designed with families or mixed groups in mind - a double bedroom and a family room with a single and a bunk. This flexible arrangement suits adults and children alike, giving each guest their own space while keeping the layout practical and easy to navigate. A shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC completes the interior, ideal after time spent exploring woodland paths or the nearby shoreline. Step outside, and the wider grounds invite you to linger.
The 6‑acre lake is a focal point throughout the year, drawing anglers and wildlife, while the surrounding woodland provides a haven for birds and quiet wandering beneath the trees. For days out, Criccieth offers seaside charm and castle views, Pwllheli brings harbour walks and family-friendly spots to eat, and Porthmadog provides a lively mix of cafés, shops, and coastal atmosphere. However you choose to spend your time, Lodge 5 - Bron Eifion offers a nature-led base by lake and woodland. Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, now known as Eryri, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Eryri mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Eryri National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
