Inside, the wooden, rustic interior keeps things simple and inviting, giving you a warm base for days spent by the shore or beside the lake. The lodge is single-storey, so everything flows easily from one space to the next. The open-plan living area brings together a kitchen, dining space, and sitting area, ideal for sharing a meal, putting the kettle on after a breezy walk, or settling in with the TV as evening draws in.
When it’s time to turn in, there are two bedrooms to choose from, a double and a twin, offering a practical layout for couples, friends, or a small family. A shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC completes the interior, making it easy to reset between outings. The setting suits guests who want nature close at hand. For days out, spend time in Criccieth for a change of scene by the coast, head to Pwllheli to wander, browse, and pause for food and drink, or make your way to Porthmadog for a different pace and a wander around town.

Often described as the 'Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia’, now known as Eryri, this delightful seaside town is situated just 5 miles from Porthmadog. The town’s 13th-century castle perches majestically on a rocky outcrop, dominating the skyline and offering superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Eryri mountains. Watersports enthusiasts will be delighted by the two beaches, whilst walkers and bikers are spoilt for choice by the proximity of the beautiful Eryri National Park. Stroll along the beaches, watch porpoises playing in the surf, or relax in the various pubs, restaurants and tea rooms, sampling the famous Cadwalader’s ice cream. Further afield, attractions such as Portmeirion’s wonderful Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the beautiful beaches and renowned golf courses of the Llyn Peninsula are all within an easy drive.
