We had 6 adults staying and it was more than enough room, especially the spacious downstairs living area and kitchen. Ian was really responsive, and the instructions for the house were really clear. Would highly recommend this cottage and would stay here again!

This little village Borth-y-Gest is so well kept. Spotlessly clean! It even has a well stocked library in the bus shelter! Wonderful views on your doorstep. You don't have to leave the house! Two lovely outdoor seating areas at the front with beach views. Also a beautiful well maintained, elevated garden at the rear. Sit and relax or take a stroll and look out for the wildlife. We saw Herons, Shell ducks, Swans, Choughs , to name a few. The house is warm and comfortable. A really well equipped kitchen too. My brother in law is a Chinese chef and thought it was great that there was a wok and a lovely big gas Range cooker. Lots of lovely white crockery too! No shortage of cups, plates etc. Big fridge freezer too so that you can stock up. There is no local shop and you need to go into Porthmadog, just 2 minutes drive, where you will find everything you need. There's aTesco, Lidl and Aldi to name a few. The house has a lovely downstairs shower and separate toilet. The heating is excellent if you're considering a holiday in the colder months. The upstairs lounge has fabulous views from the window seats and there's a balcony that's accessible from the front double bedroom. All the bedrooms have really comfortable beds. Good quality mattresses and bedding. Plenty of storage space and a tv in every bedroom. Great if you don't want to watch Corrie or Big Brother eg! There's an upstairs bathroom with over bath shower. We preferred the downstairs shower as it was easier to access and had a fantastic shower! The stairs are not too steep and there's a child stair gate at the top which is so handy if you have a toddler. The owner, Ian , contacted me immediately after I booked to thank me for booking their cottage. He was very helpful and obliging and was available at anytime to address any issues etc that might arise. All in all, a very pleasant cottage, spotlessly clean and comfortable. There's a quiet little Bistro next door and it didn't disturb our stay. I recommend this delightful cottage and hope to return next year.
