7 Ivy Terrace in Porthmadog is a well-loved cottage praised for its stunning views and prime location. Guests find it cosy, comfortable, and well-presented, with a homely feel and easy access to local amenities and attractions. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly enjoyable, with many guests eager to return.
The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with spotless towels and bed linen. However, some guests noted cobwebs and the need for a deeper clean in the kitchen, slightly lowering the score.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to beaches, Snowdonia, and local services. It's considered ideal for both relaxation and exploring North Wales.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a particularly cosy master bedroom. Some concerns about bed sizes and a small TV slightly affect the comfort score.
The cottage is well-equipped, but feedback suggests the kitchen appliances and garden maintenance could be improved. Issues with hot water consistency and a lack of a washing machine are noted.
There is insufficient information regarding the presence of welcome gifts or additional thoughtful touches provided by the owner, so a score cannot be given.

Bortha Gest is a lovely village quiet and peaceful . You can walk to some lovely coves which are perfect. Sophie sent us a very useful list of things to do which was very useful .

Views across the water towards Snowdon are so beautiful which were heightened by the fabulous weather we were lucky to have had. There are a couple of very tiny glitches that i would maybe recommend be looked into, The key safe is too low down for elderly people and the front door sticks when trying to open from the inside. I am so pleased that we had the good fortune to find such lovely house, so much so that we have already booked for next year Ali

It is well equipped, clean and very cosy. The views and location are brilliant. We walked some of the coast path and found some pretty and secluded beaches, the bus service means you can walk up the coast then catch the bus back to your doorstep. Fabulous stay. Thank you.
