Becws Islyn is a delightful bakery, with an outdoor seating area as well as a wide variety of takeaway savoury and sweet treats for your day on the beach.

There are several top-notch eating places in the village, two pubs and a newsagents/off license. An Ice cream parlour and gift shop are just off the beach.

Explore Ynys Enlli Island (Bardsey Island) between March and October, on a Bardsey Island boat trip run by Colin Evans. The 12 seater leaves from Porth Meudwy, a short drive from Aberdaron. You can expect to spot Seals, Porpoises and a fabulous diversity of seabirds during the journey. You'll get to spend 4hrs doing your own this on this magical, mystical Island.

The headland at the tip on the Llyn Peninsula, Uwch Mynydd is not to be missed, coastal walking at its very best, superb views of Bardsey Island to the west and mountains of Snowdonia to the east.

10 miles from Abersoch and 12 miles from Morfa Nefyn, day trips are easy if you fancy a change of scene. A local minibus runs in the summer months, ferrying people from one coastal village to another for a minimal fee, a great way to enjoy the landscape without having to watch the road, it also affords you the option of having a pub lunch and drink at the Ty Coch pub at Porthdinllaen, voted one of the top ten beach bars in the world.
