Dominating the skyline from its majestic position on a rocky outcrop, the town's 13th Century castle offers superb views of Tremadog Bay and the Snowdonia mountains. There are two beaches close by, as well as a wealth of footpaths and cycle trails present in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Nature lovers will enjoy the excellent bird watching in the area as well as the chance to spot porpoises playing in the surf. For those who prefer the bustle of a town, Portmeirion's offers various pubs, restaurants and tea-rooms, as well as Italianate gardens, the Ffestiniog railway in Porthmadog, Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle and the renowned golf courses of the Lleyn Peninsula.

The owners are very friendly and welcoming. This is our second time here and are booking for next year too. The only one small gripe is that there is no dishwasher, but thatâs not really a problem. An awsum property and fantastic holiday. Thanks.
