About this property

This detached bungalow sits in the pretty coastal town of Nefyn, on the scenic Llyn Peninsula. Welcoming six guests and boasting a front garden, and a rear enclosed garden, adorning mature apple and pear trees, available for guests to enjoy, Normandy is a fantastic base for families and friends; it's also suitable for those with limited mobility, resting on a single storey and benefitting from external grab rails and wheelchair access. Enter the property into the kitchen, where you can make use of all the appliances to whip up something tasty, then to be served at the dining table with a bottle of fizz. Make yourself at home in the lounge, hosting two plush sofas, a Smart TV, and a crackling open fire, so you can relish a movie night after a long day of exploring. Step into the rear enclosed garden and indulge in a tipple of your choice as the sun sets over the neighbouring properties. As the night grows dark, whisk away to the bedrooms to catch your rest, housing two doubles and a twin, each neutrally presented. Awaken from a deep slumber to a rinse in the shower room, which features a comfort height toilet, double shower doors to allow wheelchair access, and a shower chair (on request), before heading into the local town to enjoy the shops and amenities provided. Spend your days adventuring this beautiful region, testing your hand at paddleboarding, catching a tan on the beach, and listening to the waves crash against the shore, before treating the group to a meal at a fine restaurant. Those holidaying with dogs will be delighted to know there is a dog-friendly beach, with idyllic rock pools to explore as well as being sheltered by the stunning Nefyn Headland, opening miles of picturesque walking routes. Take in local history at the Llŷn Maritime Museum, or head further afield and discover attractions at Abersoch and Pwllheli, with watersports and stunning beaches to name a few. Normandy makes a fantastic touring spot for exploring many coastal and countryside attractions.

Ideal for dog owners as it is truly dog friendly, with a secure rear garden and close to good walking paths into the nearby village or up the adjacent mountain. The local beach is beautiful and great for exercising the dog. It is also a good location for exploring all of the charming Lleyn Peninsular. We will definitely be back!

Sharon met us on arrival and was really helpful, informative and friendly. Normandy was exceptionally clean and well maintained with everything you could need for a stay including every kitchen utensil you could think of, guide books, recommended eating places and, just as important, a really secure back garden for our terrier to roam in the mornings! The beds, in particular, are really comfortable! Nefyn is a lovely destination and the local beach is beautiful with the local brewery and community owned pub well worth a visit if you fancy some "real ale". Thank you for a great stay and we will definitely book again. Would thoroughly recommend.
