Resting on the peaceful Glasfryn Estate which is surrounded by countryside is this detached, stone-built cottage, Tan Y Bryn. Located on the Llŷn Peninsula AONB, the cottage offers sea views, a private, enclosed garden perfect for up to two well-behaved dogs, with hot tub and sauna; an ideal, secluded spot for family gatherings! Admire your lush surroundings before stepping inside this lovely abode with a well-equipped kitchen/diner; set the table whilst the designated chef whips up their favourite home-cooked dinner, ready to tuck in together as a family. Retreat to the quaint sitting room to start the woodburning stove and snuggle up on the cushioned sofas. During the summer months, be sure to relax in your private garden with a terrace and outdoor seating to make the most of your glorious backdrop; why not step inside the sauna for the ultimate de-stress after you've hiked along the picturesque coast? Keep your muddy boots in the handy utility with a washing machine to keep your gear clean. Freshen up in the family bathroom before retiring to one of three beautifully appointed bedrooms; a double hosts an en-suite bathroom, whilst a twin and double bunk are just nearby. Wander the grounds of Glasfryn Estate with its large, natural lake, head to Abersoch for surfing, or discover local heritage at Criccieth. However you plan to spend your time, Tan Y Bryn is a wonderful base to explore a stunning region of North Wales. The small village of Trefor, which overlooks Caernarfon Bay and is surrounded by sea and mountains, has a harbour with a stone breakwater pier and a sheltered sandy beach that the Wales Coastal Path goes past, or the brave can experience regular surf outside the breakwater. There is a convenience store, a Post Office, and a licenced social club in the settlement. The Welsh Language and Heritage Centre and restaurant are located nearby in the community of Llithfaen.
