A wonderful terrace cottage overlooking the Menai Strait at Y Felinheli, between the historic town of Caernarfon and the cathedral city of Bangor. Perfect for couples or a small family, this homely retreat provides a comfortable holiday experience all-year-round. Enter into the contemporary sitting room and dining area, centred by a feature fireplace, and sit back and relax after a day of sightseeing. From here you can access the modernised kitchen, complete with a range of appliances. Wander upstairs where you will be spoilt for choice by two beautiful bedrooms. The king-size double showcases exceptional views towards the clear water, whilst the twin boasts a pleasant backdrop of the garden. Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep, then get ready in the family bathroom, benefiting from a bath with a shower over. Before venturing out to the village, enjoy some leisure time in the enclosed three tiered garden, or step out to the front for a scenic outlook over the Menai Strait. Y Felinheli features a handful of pubs, a restaurant, café in the dock area, a shop and post office, along with several great restaurants on the nearby island of Anglesey. Visitors to this lovely region are spoilt for choice, with Snowdonia, the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, and the sandy beaches of the Isle of Anglesey just waiting to be explored. Glan Y Don is a fantastic base for a holiday on the WelshCoast.
Y Felinheli, is situated on the Menai Straits between the historic town of Caernarfon and the city of Bangor. Home to a small yachting marina with an interesting lock, this village also has a couple of pubs and a shop, as well as an award-winning 5 star restaurant only 2 miles away. Visitors are spoilt for choice with Snowdonia, the Llyn Peninsula, or the sandy beaches of the Isle of Anglesey within easy reach.
