Step inside and discover the kitchen/diner, hosting all you could need for a self-catered stay, even including a dishwasher so you wont have to lift a finger when it comes to washing up! After a day of walking, look forward to relaxing in the lounge, positioned at the front of the property so you can enjoy those glorious vistas from the sofa. Head upstairs to the bedrooms, offering three tasteful spaces to rest, including two doubles and a single, each with plenty of storage and neutral furnishings. Begin the morning with a shower in the bathroom, before taking your morning coffee outside to the multi-level garden, where you can choose which level you’d like to sit at and enjoy the tranquil scene.

On the third level lies a built-in bar, where you can become a bartender for the evening serving drinks of your choice, before climbing into the alluring hot tub to enjoy an evening under the stars. More steps leads to the top sitting area, where you can really capture the panoramic views of the Menai Strait. Y Felinheli, once known as Port Dinorwic, makes an extremely desirable spot for a holiday to Wales, serving as a gateway to the Isle of Anglesey, the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia National Park. It offers something for everyone, as well as being home to a wealth of amenities including a choice of pubs, a restaurant, café, Post Office and shop, providing all you could need and more for a week-long stay.

For memorable family days out, the Plas Menai National Outdoor Centre and Greenwood Family Park are great choices, whilst a pleasant drive away to the town of Caernarfon offers attractions such as the imposing World Heritage fortress of Caernarfon Castle and the Welsh Highland Railway, a real hit with avid historians and railway enthusiasts. For something a little more laid back, hop on board the Snowdon Mountain Railway in Llanberis, which steadily climbs almost to the doorstep of the mesmerising Hafod Eryri Visitor Centre or take a walk around Padarn Lake. Hylands truly is a spectacular holiday home, providing an exceptional base for a coastal escape to North Wales.
