Cymmer is a good location if you want to visit the coast and have easy access to inland countryside. Ivy Cottage was cosy, clean and comfortable, check-in was easy and friendly and we felt very at home there. We appreciated the milk left in the fridge and the packet of Welsh cakes!

The cottage warm, comfortable and contemporary and has lots of family space. It is well situated in a quiet village, convenient for a wealth of activities. We enjoyed some great walking from the front door and further afield when the weather allowed. We could easily have used the many local mountain bike trails had they been open. It was easy to get to the Gower, we enjoyed a train trip to Cardiff to see the castle and went underground in a mine. Hayley could not have been more helpful.

The owner came and met us which was very nice. There was a minor issue with the bathroom light but the owner sorted it out very promptly. Would happily stay there again if we are in the area.
