This delightful and inviting cottage has been imaginatively converted from a farm s 17th century granary and now makes a wonderful base for a couple exploring the valley surrounding the secluded hamlet of Llanfihangel Nant Bran. Offering incredible views and fabulous rural walks, the area is ideal for nature lovers, with chances to spot red kites soaring overhead. The Epynt Way is within a couple of miles, encircling the Sennybridge Training Area and offering 50 miles of waymarked bridleways to explore. Heading south, the village of Sennybridge (4.5 miles) nestles on the edge of the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park and has some friendly pubs. Brecon itself (9 miles) features a cinema, theatre, leisure centre and an array of shops, pubs and restaurants. This pretty and welcoming property is accessed via a flight of external stone stairs. On entering, you will find yourself in the open plan, bright and stylish lounge/kitchen/diner which features characterful exposed beams set in the low sloping ceiling which also has skylights allowing the light to flood in. The attractive lounge provides an ideal space for relaxation at the end of the day.
