Brecon is just 5 miles from the property and offers an array of cafes, restaurants, independent shops, and a small cinema. Walk along the canal to the famous theatre, art gallery and restaurant spot - Theatr Brycheiniog. If you want to explore the canal from a different perspective, you can enjoy a boat ride or cycle along the many towpaths.

Over the border in Hereford is beautiful Hay-on-Wye (20 miles), known for its book shops and annual festival, but also home to walking, canoeing, and kayaking opportunities. For something more sedate, take a picnic and enjoy the natural beauty at Pwll y Wrach nature reserve (13.5 miles).
