we stayed at kookaburra for a week in october and had a brilliant time. The cottage is conveniently situated a short 10 minute walk from the town centre or the riverside walks. The cathedral and priory groves are just across the road.The cottage is very comfortable with a smart tv (took me 2 or 3 days to work that out) and a posh coffee machine (which i never really got to grips with). I could cope well with the kettle though. I'm not a total techno-phobe! Strangely, no can opener but that was not really a problemThe cottage was always warm and well insulated which made it super cosy, no matter how stormy it was outside. The back garden was a very nice little corner for the dog to run around in when needed.There is only street parking but it was never a problem for us, we could always find space no matter what time of day or night.I would definitely recommend Kookaburra Cottage for a stay
