Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Nestled in a peaceful paddock on a working farm in Llangorse, these charming shepherd’s huts offer a cosy countryside retreat. Each hut features a comfy double bed, log burner, and a seating area, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. A shared kitchen between the three huts is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas cooker, and microwave, while a clean and functional shared shower room with a shower cubicle completes the setup.
Surrounded by scenic farmland and open skies, it’s the perfect rural escape for couples or solo adventurers seeking a back-to-nature experience in the heart of Wales. Llangorse is a hub for outdoor adventures and natural beauty. Llangorse Lake, the largest natural lake in South Wales, offers activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and sailing, or you can enjoy a peaceful walk around its edges while spotting wildlife.
The nearby Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park provide excellent hiking and cycling routes, including trails to Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales. This area is superb for dark skies, lay back and watch the night skies fill with stars.

We could not stay in this dirty van, we could not contact the owner to inform him we would be moving on. The pictures on the web site are confusing and do not clearly show the kitchen & shower are remote from the hut. Electricity was suposed to be supplied, it was 2 strip lights of 12inches long maximum, no sockets and no facilities. The patio was a small weed ridden area.Bedding was supplied! an old mattress pillows and a duvet, no pillow slips or duvet cover as in the pictures, no towels supplied. Small wood burner in the hut but no available wood, firelighters or matches.Generally not as dexscribed or portrayed, should be classed as extremely basic. Suggest that you visit this facility as it is not anywhere near the standard we would accept.
