Sleeping four guests in two bedrooms, it is set at the heart of the famous literary hub and on the fringes of picturesque Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as the Brecon Beacons. Head out on foot to explore the town, with its many book stores, independent shops, and eateries. Time your visit with the annual literary festival or the book launch of your favourite author. Visit the castle, 300 metres away, or hire a canoe or kayak and paddle out along the scenic River Wye. Follow a section of the long-distance Offa’s Dyke Path from the town or head deep into the national park to find other trails and beauty spots. Plan a trip to the famous foodie town of Abergavenny, 23 miles away.
