Further afield, the Brecon Beacons National Park is your playground – and starts at your front door. Families can try canoeing or paddleboarding on the nearby waters, go horse riding through the rolling countryside, or set off together on one of the many cycling and hiking trails that wind through the national park.

When it’s time to call it a night, the four-poster king-size bed in the living space impresses – its posts uniquely crafted from branches. A second bedroom offers flexible sleeping with its single bed set above a double – perfect for little ones. Each morning, refresh in the rustic shower room, which completes the interior.
