Lovely, characterful detached farmhouse in the heart of Mid-Wales with rolling views of the countryside, situated on a 320-acre working farm. This is the ideal property to enjoy a relaxed stay, listen to the wildlife and watch the stars in the clear skies. This is a great place for those wanting to visit the coastal nature reserve of Ynyslas Sands or the dolphins of Cardigan Bay, both of which are within a day trip. It is less than 10 miles to the attractive Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells and 13 miles to the market town of Rhayader. Both have an interesting array of small shops, cafés and restaurants. The stunning Elan Valley is located just a couple miles further on, where here you will find the famous red kite feeding station, Welsh Crystal Factory, cycle hire, and a myriad of other outdoor pursuits. Explore the area, whether it be on foot or bicycle. Radnor Forest is nearby and offers spectacular views and routes that can be walked or cycled. Or simply enjoy the multitude of hikes and walks right on your doorstep. The nearby village of Bleddfa offers a country pub within 5 miles.

A special cottage for those seeking quiet and countryside, but with spacious and comfortable accommodation.A car is required for local attractions, within an hour's drive there are many. And the scenery in the autumn is gorgeous. Life on the farm was quiet and relaxed. It was a joy to return each day and relax in front of the log fire. Plenty of space for all the family and of course the dogs. This cottage surpassed all expectations and made a great base for a lovely holiday.

Lovely cottage ..could do with a deep clean and a freshen up especially the cushion covers and throws ..lots of dog hairs.. I took 2 dogs and kept them off the furniture..they loved the garden .. log fire was lovely but had to go buy kinding and fire lighters ..bed was so comfy .. bath was massive took a while to figure out the hot water .. wasn’t enough towels for us as we shower daily …the welcome pack isn’t good unless you like coffee 😂 not slagging off the cottage and area ..it’s beautiful.. a little tlc and lick of paint ..maybe wine rather than coffee and would be perfect ..
